Authentication Model Based on Biometric Fingerprint Approaches for Computer Ad-Hoc Networks

Abstract

Network security is direly needed in the world where security has become a huge issue. Especially when you share the data and your network is composed of individual devices communicating with each other directly. In this paper we will set forth a system which is based on finger print biometrics and pin number ( which will be sent through mobile messages) in order to avoid the unauthorized attempts to bypass the security mechanisms of any network and un authenticated logins. In this paper the former system will include components such as ridge enhancement, feature extraction, core detection and baseline matching. Initially at the time of login model will detect the fingerprint of the employee and simultaneously the message containing the pin code will be sent to the employee who is registered to substantiate the attempt. This type of security system will definitely increase the safety of the network and will be very useful for the ad hoc networks, business related websites, ATM and security of online storage drives
