Wireless Sensor Based Water Quality Management Using Solar Energy

Abstract

Main purpose of this research is detecting pH, turbidity, and oxygen level of water through Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) with help of pH, turbidity, and redox sensors respectively and acknowledge home users, agriculturists, and industrialists that water is having a particular state and use it accordingly. WSN is powered by solar (Photovoltaic) panel. To connect nodes and base stations Zigbee is used here as a wireless technology to read data from remote positions and gather at stations to control and regulate those positions at a distance. As water is basic source for survival of each and every organism in the earth planet, without its quality, this same water could be dangerous to use. Data of pH, turbidity and oxygen levels is sent from nodes to base stations and there that data is analyzed visually and finally necessary action is taken for regulation of water and controlling its quality. ARM (Advanced Risk Machines) controller and programming solve issue of complexity by its functions of reduction in instructions and flexible in working. LCD represents data through Microcontroller and then it is sent to station by WSN. Solar power is being used here in order to avoid carbon emissions, and this system consumes lower power. Its flexibility could be imagined through its proper working at a remote distance in efficient way
